Initialisms and Types
of Group Sex Arrangements
There are several variations of Group Sex, so in order to classify
the different types, gender-specific initialisms were created. Many
will see these initialisms as codes in erotic stories and in personal
ads, so the following will help explain the activities these initialisms
usually signify. Typically, where there is contact between genders,
the letters "M" (for male) or "F" (for female) are
adjacent to signify sexual contact between MOTSS or MOTOS.
Threesomes or Ménage à trois, the most common group sex
arrangements:
MFF or FFM is a BISEXUAL threesome with two Females and one Male (females
bi) - the "typical male" fantasy.
FFF is an all-female threesome (females bi/lesbian)
MMF or FMM is a BISEXUAL threesome with two Males and one Female (males
bi)
MFM is a STRAIGHT threesome with two Males and one Female (males straight)
MMM is an all-male threesome (males bi/gay)
Foursomes with two MOTOS Couples:
MMFF is a BISEXUAL foursome (two couples) with two Males and two Females
(males and females both bi)
MFMF is a STRAIGHT foursome (two couples) with two Males and two Females
(males and females both straight)
MFFM is a BISEXUAL foursome (two couples) with two Males and two Females
(males straight and females bi)
FMMF is a BISEXUAL foursome (two couples) with two Males and two Females
(males bi and females straight)
There are other variables used for different multiple partner situations...
for instance, here are some examples:
FFFM would mean 3 bi Females and one "lucky" Male.
MMMF would mean 3 bi Males and one "lucky" Female.
Also, capital letters are sometimes used to signify classification (mostly
used in BDSM/D/s or experienced swinging) with UPPER CASE being DOMINANT/TOP
or lowercase being submissive/bottom. For instance:
MfM would be two Dominant/Top Straight Males with one submissive/bottom
female; whereas FmF would be two Dominant/Top Straight Females with
one submissive/bottom male.
FFm would be two Dominant/Top Bisexual Females with one submissive/bottom
male; whereas MMf would be two Dominant/Top Bisexual Males with one
submissive/bottom female.
Mmf would be One Dominant/Top Bisexual male with one submissive/bottom/bisexual
male and submissive/bottom/straight female (usually a couple); whereas
Ffm would be One Dominant/Top bisexual Female with one submissive/bottom/bisexual
female and submissive/bottom straight male (again, typically a couple).
There are countless other combinations, but the preceding are the most
prevalent.
